MEDICAL LAB TECHNICIAN MLT

Conduct a variety of laboratory tests, procedures, and related duties to obtain data for disease diagnosis and treatment by following established standards. Process patient specimens during the assigned work shift, including collection, testing, processing, and reporting of accurate results while resolving issues in the pre-analytical, analytical, and post-analytical phases. Maintain active communication and strengthen collaborative relationships among clinic medical, nursing staff, and other lab personnel. Requires an associates degree in Biology, Chemistry, or Medical Technology, a required clinical internship in an MLT approved program, and MLT(ASCP or equivalent) registration or registry eligibility.
