Job Summary
PRN Laboratory Technician/Medical Laboratory Scientist position in a hospital laboratory (MT/MLS or MLT under either degree path) providing as-needed support for night and evening shifts. Responsibilities include collection and analysis of laboratory specimens, accurate patient identification, phlebotomy, reporting results per protocol, and performing quality control and instrument maintenance. Requires strong lab science skills, effective communication, ability to operate lab and basic office equipment, and ASCP or AMT registration with at least 1 year of relevant experience. On-site in Batesville, IN. PRN status suitable for MLS/MLT professionals seeking flexible hours or extra shifts.
Required Qualifications
- Associate’s degree or Bachelor's degree majoring in Medical Technology, Science or other scientific field
- Registered as a Medical Lab Tech or Medical Technologist by the ASCP or AMT
- Minimum of 1 year relevant work experience
