Job Summary
Perform laboratory tests in designated clinical areas; report panic values; perform quality control and calibration; conduct maintenance on laboratory equipment; promote excellent customer service; assist with training of students from colleges/technical schools; document quality control; contribute to development of departmental policies and procedures; assist Medical Assistants as needed; location includes Marysville/Dublin/Hillard/Delaware/Powell, OH area with approx. 25–30 minute travel times to respective towns; hospital environment with inclusive culture and comprehensive benefits.
Required Qualifications
- Associate Degree in Medical Laboratory Technology or Bachelor of Science, completion of post secondary program in medical laboratory technology, training in Armed Services as Medical Laboratory Technician, or equivalent combination of education and experience. Certified as Medical Laboratory Technician (American Society for Clinical Pathology) preferred.
