Job Summary
Perform moderate and high complexity testing using state-of-the-art Roche instrumentation, set up and complete instrument maintenance, calibration, and quality control. Analyze, review, and report test results while ensuring specimen integrity through adherence to laboratory procedures for handling and processing. Take remedial action when indicated and follow departmental policies regarding quality assurance and safety. Requires New York State License and degree in Clinical Laboratory Science. Evening shift from 4pm to 12:30am Monday through Friday with rotating Saturdays.
Required Qualifications
- New York State License (Medical Technologist or Medical Lab Technician)
- Bachelor's or Associates Degree in Clinical Laboratory Science, Medical Technology or related degree
- Scheduled Weekly Hours: 40
- Work Shift: 2nd Shift (United States of America)
