Job Summary
Perform laboratory testing across various sections of the lab under general supervision of the Laboratory Manager. Execute control testing and initiate troubleshooting steps for problem areas. Maintain competency in laboratory technology components and communicate patient instructions and information verbally. Demonstrate numerical ability to calculate by formula and possess visual acuity in the color spectrum to perform specific lab tests. This role is full-time, 1st shift, located in Lake Guntersville, Alabama, with an ASCS degree or equivalent certification preferred.
Required Qualifications
- A.S. degree in MLT / B.S. degree in Medical Technology, or chemical, physical or biological science or chemical, physical or biological science with clinical training in a school approved by ASCP", "Registered by ASCP preferred
