Job Summary
Produce and report laboratory results in hematology, coagulation, urinalysis, automated chemistry, and serology. Perform, interpret, and record quality control data across all departments. Plate microbiology specimens and perform preventative and corrective maintenance on instrumentation as prescribed. Call critical results and maintain department supplies through inventory management. Document corrective actions for test system deviations and adhere to CLIA personnel responsibilities. Participate in continuing education to maintain proficiency. Required Qualifications
- Associate Degree in biological science or chemistry
- Completion of qualified medical laboratory science program
- Three years of acceptable clinical laboratory experience
Desired Qualifications
- ASCP or AMT certification
- 2-4 years laboratory experience
