Job Summary
Conduct routine diagnostic tests for neonates through geriatric patients by obtaining and processing specimens for quality patient testing. Perform laboratory testing per policy manuals, maintain clean working environments, and monitor daily quality control while troubleshooting equipment. Process specimens for reference laboratory services, order supplies, and assist with specimen collection. Review reference reports, follow up as needed, and consult with medical personnel. Maintain required records and participate on committees as requested.
Required Qualifications
- Associate or Bachelor's Degree
- Medical Laboratory Technician, Medical Technologist, Medical Laboratory Scientist, ASCP or AMT registry
Desired Qualifications
- Previous laboratory experience preferred but not required
