Medical Lab Tech Lead

Lead the Chemistry Laboratory by directing operations in Clinical Chemistry, Immunology, and Special Chemistry while serving as a key resource for other technicians. Operate department equipment safely, perform preventative maintenance, and troubleshoot instrument and QC failures with proper documentation. Manage specimen pending logs, prioritize workflow fluctuations, and maintain adequate inventory of reagents and supplies. Write and revise department procedures, assist with quality control programs, and analyze problems to inform supervisory staff. Maintain technical competency, utilize LIS functions, and meet performance expectations for customer service and staff development.
