Medical Lab* Scientist (MLS) or Medical Lab* Tech (MLT)

Under the supervision of the Laboratory Director, performs all required tests as specified in standard procedures for Medical Technologist (MT) / Medical Laboratory Scientist (MLS). Functions as supervisor when the Laboratory Manager/Director is absent. Requires BS in Medical Technology or equivalent, state registration, and CPR certification. Works with Laboratory staff and other hospital departments; proficient in Cerner system; adherence to quality control and accuracy standards; participates in call rotations; duties include specimen collection support, accurate test performance, documentation, and maintaining a safe and efficient lab environment.
