Medical Lab Scientist (MLS) - Microbiology - St. Vincent Medical Center Medical Office Building 2

Perform analytical tests on biological specimens, including blood and tissues, in a timely, efficient, and accurate manner while complying with documented laboratory procedures. Determine specimen acceptability through visual inspections or by recognizing abnormal results, and recognize factors affecting measurements by taking appropriate protocol actions. Execute quality control for all testing to ensure results meet established ranges before release, maintain a safe work environment via equipment checks and temperature monitoring, and troubleshoot laboratory equipment as needed. This role supports physicians with quality results using clinical laboratory equipment within the Microbiology department at St. Vincent Medical Center Medical Office Building 2.
