Job Summary
Provide safe, effective, quality medical laboratory services to infant, pediatric, adult, and geriatric patients by performing complex analyses requiring a network of steps and variables. Confirm and verify results through in-depth knowledge of techniques, principles, and instruments, while correlating and interpreting data based on physiological conditions affecting test outcomes. Establish and monitor quality assurance programs, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and performance metrics. Maintain clinical laboratory technology expertise in clinical chemistry, hematology, immunology, microbiology, and molecular biology. Communicate technical concepts to customers and new employees, assessing customer needs and evaluating satisfaction within the healthcare community. ASCB, AMT, or equivalent certification required within six months of hire.
Required Qualifications
- Candidates must be actively following or have completed a Medical Laboratory Scientist approved route to meet eligibility criteria for certification.
- ASCP, AMT or equivalent certified Medical Laboratory Scientist required within six (6) months of hire.
