Job Summary
Conduct clinical tests across all lab departments to support disease diagnosis and treatment. Evaluate procedure results, troubleshoot equipment issues after notifying the supervisor, and maintain accurate records and clerical files. Participate in quality control programs, assist in training students and new employees, and notify physicians of abnormal findings when the immediate supervisor is unavailable. Engage in the employee evaluation process and provide total lab coverage on a shift or on-call basis.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Medical Technology or one of the sciences related to Medical Technology
- certification as a Medical Technologist by a national certified agency
