Job Summary
Process and test specimens across departments while mastering laboratory policies, procedures, and diagnostic instrument maintenance. Manage high-complexity specialty testing, perform quality assurance and kit validation, and ensure environmental monitoring and reagent preparation. Collect specimens, interpret diagnostic data using tools like ACL and SQL, and document incidents while adhering to strict patient privacy and ethical standards. Serve as a specimen collection specialist and support Technologists and the Administrative Laboratory Director as needed. This role requires a Medical Technologist certification and less than one year of experience, with shifts covering neonates through geriatrics.
