Job Summary
Clinical Lab Technologist in a high-volume lab performing routine and complex testing per SOP. Responsibilities include determining specimen acceptability, conducting technical procedures, instrument troubleshooting, making technical testing decisions, preparing/evaluating reagents, reporting results for patient care, maintaining quality control and preventive maintenance, replenishing supplies, and ensuring a safe work environment. Requires a Bachelor’s degree in a chemical or biological science or MLS degree, plus 1+ year of clinical laboratory testing (or MLS credential); ASCP/AMT certification and blood banking experience preferred. Works 3rd shift in Nashville, TN, in a production-based clinical laboratory setting. Proficiency with LIS, strong attention to detail, teamwork, and ability to multitask are expected. Required Qualifications
