Medical Interpreter, Spanish - Per Diem

Conduct consecutive or simultaneous translation to assist non-English speaking and limited English proficient patients receiving care within the Southern New Hampshire Health System. Serve as a neutral party in the transfer of accurate information between staff and the patient and family while establishing an appropriate environment for effective communication. Work with diverse populations from various cultures, economic backgrounds, and age groups to advocate for each patient and collaborate with the care team. Requires completion of a 40-hour Medical Interpreter Training Program/Certificate, an HS Diploma or Equivalent, and experience with simultaneous interpreting. Fluency in English and Spanish is essential. Varied shifts include weekends.
