Job Summary
Provide supervised, evidence-based fitness services for medically integrated programs, delivering exercise instruction, interpreting fitness assessments, and offering program recommendations to members. Responsibilities include coordinating health histories and medical clearance, scheduling and conducting assessments/orientations, explaining assessment results with tailored exercise guidelines, responding as first responder to medical emergencies with AED and supplies, promoting ancillary services (personal training, medically integrated programs, wellness coaching, nutrition services), maintaining facility safety and cleanliness, and adapting to flexible center hours. Requires a Bachelor's degree in a health-related field, CPR/AED certification within 90 days, and strong interpersonal/communication skills; experience with special populations and NCCA certification preferred.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a health-related, exercise science, kinesiology, or physical education major
- CPR/AED certification required within 90 days of hire (Provided by Power Wellness)
- Nationally recognized NCCA accredited certification preferred
