Job Summary
Service MR equipment in the Sarasota, FL area by installing, troubleshooting, repairing, and performing preventative maintenance on Siemens Healthineers diagnostic instruments. Deliver timely repairs and train operators to ensure optimal system performance and superior customer satisfaction. Manage financial performance through inventory control, time management, and service call closure while overseeing company assets such as vehicles, tools, and parts. Establish business relationships with customers and peers, accurately completing administrative duties. Work M-F 8AM-5PM with a valid driver's license required for independent travel.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum high school diploma
- Technical degree, military training, or equivalent applicable training
- Must be proficient in the use of tools and service test equipment (DMM, Oscilloscope, torque wrenches, etc.)
- Ability to work individually and in a team setting
- Proficiency in MS Office applications
- 3+ years' experience of complex electro-mechanical, or as a medical technologist or field service engineer (biomedical engineer) servicing diagnostic instruments
- Valid driver's license, ability to drive independently day and night, and good driving record
- Lifting 50lbs (floor to above waist/head), walking, ladder/stepstool climbing, bending, twisting, sitting work, squatting work, standing work, high-reach, fine grasping manipulation, good vision, and ability to work alone
- Must be able to work with controlled technology in accordance with US export control law
- Must meet all Vendor Credentialing requirements necessary to have full client access
- Proof of valid identification (photo, driver's license, SSN)

- Annual TB testing
- Healthcare training
- Must be able to work with controlled technology in accordance with US export control law
Desired Qualifications
- Must have full access to Siemens Healthineers' client sites to perform the essential functions of this position
- Must continue to meet Vendor Credentialing requirements during the course of employment in this position
- Knowledge and experience performing service, preventative maintenance, and modifications on Medical Imaging Equipment at customer sites with minimal supervision
- Experience in testing, repairing, and maintaining capital medical equipment
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- General understanding of the principles of electricity, power supplies, and grounding
- Technical degree, military training, or equivalent applicable training
