Job Summary
Install, troubleshoot, repair, and perform preventative maintenance on Siemens Healthineers MR equipment for customers in the Sarasota, FL area. Deliver timely repairs, train operators on optimal system performance, and manage financial performance through inventory and service call closure. Manage company assets including a vehicle, tools, and parts while maintaining business relationships and completing administrative duties. Requires 3+ years of experience servicing diagnostic instruments, proficiency in electrical principles and test equipment, and a valid driver's license. Shifts are Monday through Friday from 8 AM to 5 PM.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum high school diploma
- Technical degree, military training, or equivalent applicable training
- Must be proficient in the use of tools and service test equipment (DMM, Oscilloscope, torque wrenches, etc.)
- Ability to work individually and in a team setting
- Proficiency in MS Office applications
- 3+ years' experience of complex electro-mechanical, or as a medical technologist or field service engineer (biomedical engineer) servicing diagnostic instruments
- Valid driver's license, ability to drive independently day and night, and good driving record
- Lifting 50lbs (floor to above waist/head), walking, ladder/stepstool climbing, bending, twisting, sitting work, squatting work, standing work, high-reach, fine grasping manipulation, good vision, and ability to work alone
- Must be able to work with controlled technology in accordance with US export control law
- Must meet all Vendor Credentialing requirements necessary to have full client access
- Proof of valid identification (photo, driver's license, SSN)

- Annual TB testing
- Healthcare training
- Must be available for M - F 8AM - 5PM shift
Desired Qualifications
- Customer Service Engineer Level based on prior experience
- You have knowledge and experience performing service, preventative maintenance, and modifications on Medical Imaging Equipment at customer sites with minimal supervision
- You have the ability and experience to establish and maintain proper business relationships with customers and peers, as well as performing necessary administrative duties accurately
- You have experience in testing, repairing, and maintaining capital medical equipment
- You have strong customer service and communication skills
- You are proficient in the use of tools and service test equipment
- General understanding of the principles of electricity, power supplies, and grounding
- Highly organized and able to plan
- Must be able to effectively lead and coach others
- Strong attention to detail
