Job Summary
Medical Imaging Field Engineer/Customer Service Engineer I for Siemens Healthineers in the Louisville/Lexington, KY area. Responsible for installing, servicing, maintaining and modifying CT, PET-CT, and Nuclear Medicine imaging equipment at customer sites. You will deliver timely repairs and operator training to ensure optimal system performance, manage territory financial performance (revenue, expenses, inventory), and maintain assets (company car, cell phone, computer, tools, inventory parts). Requires strong communication skills, experience in testing/repairing capital medical equipment, ability to work independently or in a team, and willingness to travel and participate in an on-call rotation after training. Minimum high school diploma or technical degree with 1-2+ years field service experience; valid driver’s license; physical ability to lift 50 lbs and meet other safety requirements. This role is governed by the company Fleet Safety Policy and may include shift coverage as described (Mon-Fri 4:00PM-12:00AM with potential shift differential). Required Qualifications
- Minimum high school diploma, Technical Degree or equivalent experience
- 1-2+ years of field service experience (preferred)
- Proficiency with tools and service test equipment
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Ability to travel within assigned geography; willingness to participate in on-call rotation after training and certification
- Valid driver’s license with good driving record
