Job Summary
Conduct clinical evaluations and treatment for common and rare neuromuscular disorders including Myasthenia Gravis, CIDP, ALS, and muscular dystrophies within a multidisciplinary outpatient clinic setting. Deliver compassionate care to a diverse, medically complex patient population while collaborating with colleagues in rheumatology, cardiology, and genetics on clinical and research initiatives. Manage patient care through partnerships with a dedicated neuromuscular genetics program, on-site genetic counselors, and neuropsychology services. This faculty appointment at the University of Arizona College of Medicine offers full faculty status, access to a robust Clinical Research Unit for translational studies, and opportunities to lead in teaching and scholarly productivity within a renowned academic neurology program.
Required Qualifications
- MD/DO degree (or equivalent)
- Board Certification or Eligibility in Neurology and Neuromuscular Medicine or EMG Clinical Neurophysiology
- Eligible for an Arizona medical license
- Academic interest in teaching and/or clinical research
