Medical Gas Technician I

Job Summary
Install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain vacuum pumps and air compressors in healthcare facilities, including diagnosing problems, replacing parts, and performing preventive maintenance. Detect faulty operations, report unusual situations to supervisors, and consult on sales leads as necessary. Utilize the Field Aware system for job scheduling, tracking, and time reporting. Perform duties while complying with safety regulations, wearing proper gear, and traveling 75% or more of the time with possible overnight stays. Full-time role with flexible hours including nights and weekends. Obtain ASSE 6040 and ASSE 6030 certifications within one to three years of employment.
Required Qualifications
- Experience with pumps and compressors
- Basic computer skills and experience with Microsoft applications, including Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Ability to travel, work flexible hours & adjust the schedule as required to meet customer needs
- Must show commitment to the company's core beliefs of integrity, safety and customer service
- Ability to lift to 50lbs
- Overhead work
- Ability to carry equipment and climb ladders
- Ability to sit, stand, lift, bend, hold equipment, and drive for extended periods of time
- 75% or more of travel may be required, with possible overnight stays

Desired Qualifications
- Medical Gas ASSE 6040 preferred, but not required at start of position
- Will obtain ASSE 6040 and ASSE 6030 during course of employment (within 1-3 years)
- Prefer a minimum of 2 years' experience in medical gas equipment part/component sales
- Highly organized, exceptional customer service skills & professional appearance and behavior
