Job Summary
Admissions Coordinator role focused on welcoming patients, guiding them through admissions from arrival to beginning of treatment. Responsibilities include creating a positive first impression, completing and auditing new patient demographics, medical history, and insurance paperwork, entering patient data into the EMR, collecting time-of-service payments, coordinating follow-up appointments, handling phone and clerical tasks, and supporting scheduling with staff.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 1-2 years of experience as an Admissions Coordinator or a comparable position required.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
- Ability to travel to local practices
