Job Summary
Coordinate daily office operations, including scheduling, patient flow, and front desk activities; manage patient appointments, referrals, and follow-ups using electronic health records (EHR); maintain accurate patient records with HIPAA confidentiality; act as liaison between patients, providers, and insurance companies; oversee billing processes, insurance verifications, and authorizations; monitor inventory and procure supplies; ensure medical equipment is operational; support onboarding and training of new administrative staff; implement and maintain office policies and procedures; ensure compliance with federal, state, and local healthcare regulations.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- 2+ years of experience in a medical office or healthcare setting
- Proficiency in EHR systems and Microsoft Office Suite
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Knowledge of medical terminology and insurance processes
