Job Summary
Greet patients upon arrival, answer multi-line phones, and process payments for co-pays and uninsured visits. Obtain insurance information, provide intake forms and office policies, and verify insurance eligibility. Schedule appointments for new and recurring patients based on physician availability, maintain hard copy and EHR records, and call patients to remind them of upcoming appointments or assist with off-site testing. Handle a high volume of patients and charts while supporting guidance as needed. This full-time role in our Tampa office requires strong customer service skills, EMR experience, and the ability to prioritize in a team environment. Bilingual Spanish is a plus.
Required Qualifications
- Prior Medical front desk experience
- Strong customer service and interpersonal skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with a clear speaking voice
- The ability to prioritize and handle a high volume of patients
- The ability to work in a team environment
- Working knowledge of medical terminology
- Strong computer literacy
- Must be a self-starter
- Organized and multitasking oriented
- Motivated
- Able to handle a high volume of patients, phone calls and charts
- Check in and check out experience
- Willing to learn all aspects of the ENT and Audiology field
- Monday - Friday schedule
- 8:00am-5:00pm shift
- Full-time employment
- Tampa office location
- Must be able to lift up to 10 pounds
- Must be capable of sitting, standing, bending, and stooping
- Must be able to travel between ENTAAF offices for support purposes
- Must pass full Criminal background check
- Must pass Government background check
- Must pass Credit background check
- Must pass Drug (to include Nicotine and Tobacco) background check
- Must pass professional license background check
Desired Qualifications
- 1-year previous experience in a medical practice
- EMR and medical records experience
- Bilingual Spanish speaking
