Medical Front Desk

Job Summary
Greet patients upon arrival, sign them in, obtain insurance information, and process payments for co-pays and uninsured visits. Answer multi-line phones, schedule appointments based on physician and PA/NP availability, and verify insurance. Provide intake forms, office policies, and legally required documents while maintaining hard copy and EHR records. Call patients to remind them of upcoming appointments and assist with scheduling off-site testing. Work Monday through Thursday from 7:30 AM to 5:30 PM and Friday from 7:30 AM to 12:30 PM. This role supports ENT and Audiology services at our Lynn Haven office, where patient care is the top concern. Bilingual Spanish speakers are a plus.
Required Qualifications
- Prior Medical front desk experience
- Strong customer service and interpersonal skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with a clear speaking voice
- The ability to prioritize and handle a high volume of patients
- The ability to work in a team environment
- Working knowledge of medical terminology
- Strong computer literacy
- Bilingual Spanish speaking
- EMR and medical records, check in and check out experience
- willingness to learn all aspects of the ENT and Audiology field
- Monday - Thursday, 7:30-5:30 and Friday 7:30-12:30 availability
- Coordination, manual, and physical dexterity sufficient to properly and adequately use various items of medical equipment and office equipment
- Capability to lift up to 10 pounds
- Full Criminal, Government, Credit, Drug (to include Nicotine and Tobacco) drivers and professional license background check clearance

- 1-year previous experience in a medical practice
