Job Summary
Wound care physician sought for Kaiser South Sacramento facility; responsibilities include procedures such as debridement, hematoma evacuation, application of biologic dressings, biopsies, and potentially operative debridement and skin grafting. Will supervise wound and ostomy nurses, collaborate with vascular surgery, endocrinology, orthopedics, plastics, nutrition, and social services, and may engage in limited administrative duties or academic activities with Family Practice residents. Located at the Kaiser South Sacramento Medical Facility with time split among Sacramento and Roseville campuses; hours are Monday–Friday 8:00am–5:00pm with no current call. Position offers a shareholder track with potential for partnership after three years, competitive compensation in the $320,040–$330,000 range plus incentives up to $44,350, relocation assistance up to $10,000, and extensive benefits including PSLF eligibility.
Required Qualifications
- Board Certified/Eligible physician
- experience in wound care
- outpatient wound care clinic experience or academic setting
- surgical training and/or hyperbaric medicine and/or vascular medicine training
- supervision of wound and ostomy nurses
- opportunity for administrative work if desired
- hours Monday-Friday 8:00am to 5:00pm
- no call required
- shareholder track with potential for full partnership after three years
- relocation assistance available up to $10,000
