Medical Equipment Technician (Delivery/Setup)

Job Summary
Deliver, assess, educate, and document plans of service to ensure safe and appropriate use of home medical equipment. Provide delivery, pickup, and maintenance for various medical supplies while evaluating homes and caregivers for safe environments. Instruct customers on proper equipment usage, contact patients to establish delivery windows, and clean, test, and maintain vehicles per company policy. Accept on-call service rotation as required. Maintain a clean driving record with a valid chauffeur's license and DOT medical certificate. This role supports Hart Medical Equipment's nationally accredited home care operations in Port Huron, MI.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- Clean Driving Record
- Valid Chauffeur's License
- Current DOT Medical Examiners Certificate or ability to obtain a DOT Medical Examiners Certificate
- Ability to read and write and perform basic mathematical calculations
