Job Summary
Medical Equipment Technician, Delivery responsible for the delivery, set-up, patient education and pick up of DME equipment and pharmaceuticals to home care customers within a prescribed geographical area. Determine best daily route with Dispatch, load staged orders, deliver and pick up equipment, provide customer orientation and instruction on proper use, maintain timeliness and courtesy, complete and return paperwork, perform daily vehicle maintenance, participate in on-call rotation, and perform additional duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited high school or GED equivalence
- Be at least 21 years of age with an excellent driving record
- Excellent communication and customer relation skills
- Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills (a team player)
- Good physical condition with ability to lift 100 pounds
- Must pass the HPE (Human Performance Evaluation) test
- Experience with HME delivery is a plus
