Job Summary
Delivery-focused Medical Equipment Technician role involving delivery, setup, patient education, and pickup of DME and pharmaceuticals to home-care customers within an assigned geographic area. Responsibilities include determining optimal daily routes with Dispatch, loading and unloading equipment, delivering and instructing customers on proper equipment use, completing delivery/pickup paperwork promptly, performing daily vehicle maintenance, and participating in on-call rotation. Requires excellent communication, customer service, and organizational skills, ability to lift 100 pounds, and a high school diploma or GED. The position emphasizes timely, courteous, and patient-centered service within Dayton, Springboro, and Xenia, OH, with on-site, in-person duties.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited high school or GED equivalence
- Experience with HME delivery a plus
- Be at least 21 years of age with an excellent driving record
- Excellent communication and customer relation skills
- Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills
- Clean and neat in personal appearance
- Good physical condition with ability to lift 100 pounds
- Must pass the HPE (Human Performance Evaluation) test
