Job Summary
Medical Equipment Technician, Delivery responsible for the delivery, setup, patient education and pickup of home medical equipment and pharmaceuticals to home care customers within a prescribed geographical area. Responsibilities include planning the best daily route with Dispatch, loading and unloading equipment, providing customer orientation and instruction on proper use, handling delivery/pickup paperwork, performing daily vehicle maintenance, and participating in on-call rotation. Requires at least a high school diploma or GED, 21+ years old with a clean driving record, strong communication and customer-service skills, teamwork, neat appearance, ability to lift 100 pounds, and passing the HPE test.
Required Qualifications
- Education: Graduate of an accredited high school or GED equivalence
- Experience with HME delivery preferred
- Be at least 21 years of age with an excellent driving record
- Excellent communication and customer relation skills
- Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills (a team player)
- Clean and neat in personal appearance
- Good physical condition with ability to lift 100 pounds
- Must pass the HPE (Human Performance Evaluation) test
