Job Summary
Medical Equipment Technician, Delivery responsible for the delivery, setup, patient education, and pickup of DME equipment and pharmaceuticals to home care customers within a prescribed and assigned geographical area. The position involves making deliveries within the surrounding area, determining with the Dispatch Coordinator the best daily route, loading staged orders, unloading equipment, providing customer orientation and problem-solving, completing delivery/pickup paperwork, performing daily vehicle maintenance, and participating in on-call rotation. Requires at least 21 years of age with an excellent driving record, strong communication and customer-service skills, teamwork, the ability to lift 100 pounds, and the ability to pass the HPE test. Education is a high school diploma or GED equivalence. Schedule: Full Time Mon-Fri plus on call rotation.
Required Qualifications
- Education: Graduate of an accredited high school or GED equivalence
- Be at least 21 years of age with an excellent driving records
- Excellent communication and customer relation skills
- Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills (a team player)
- Good physical condition with ability to lift 100 pounds
- Must pass the HPE (Human Performance Evaluation) test.
