Job Summary
Medical Equipment Technician responsible for delivering, setting up, and supporting respiratory and home medical equipment at patient homes or clinics. Educates patients and caregivers on equipment use, safety, and troubleshooting; responds to equipment issues including emergencies; maintains home oxygen systems; ensures HIPAA/privacy compliance and PPE usage; operates and maintains company vehicle; participates in on-call rotations; completes documentation for patient care and reimbursement; promotes company services to referral sources; adheres to safety standards and company policies; background checks and licensure where applicable. Requires high school diploma or equivalent and a valid, unrestricted driver’s license. Senior-level experience is noted as two years in a similar role; field-based, customer-service oriented healthcare experience preferred.
