Job Summary

The Medical Equipment Technician I performs cost-effective inspection, preventive maintenance, calibration, and repair service on a variety of medical devices (e.g., medical beds, infusion pumps, patient monitoring equipment) and completes timely documentation for billing and regulatory compliance. The role requires driving to support 24/7 operations, willingness to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays, and occasional travel to customer sites. Strong communication with clinical staff about equipment features and functionality is essential.

Required Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Current, valid, and unrestricted driver’s license
  • Safe driving record
  • Willingness to travel periodically
  • Ability to lift and/or push up to 75 pounds
  • Ability to perform physically demanding tasks
  • Basic computer skills; understanding of computer networks and equipment interaction
