Medical Equipment Service Technician

Job Summary
Conduct calibration, maintenance, equipment repairs, and installations for a wide range of audiology equipment across the assigned territory. Build and maintain customer relationships by providing service and technical support, ensuring scheduled calibration and preventative maintenance are completed. Collaborate with the Office Administrator to schedule equipment calibrations and maintain accurate records of customer contact and equipment status. Prospect for new service and generate sales leads for the Regional Sales Manager. Perform 80% travel to customer locations, working independently with minimal supervision, including occasional overnight trips.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- 2 year Technical or Engineering degree or related experience
- Valid driver's license
- Clear driving record
- Willingness to follow the guidelines detailed in the proficiency and certification handbook
- Travel up to 80% of the time
- Some overnight trips
- Ability to Lift up to 50 pounds
- Bending and lifting throughout the workday
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer
- Occasional walking, stooping, kneeling, crawling, and crouching
