Medical Equipment Planning Project Manager

Job Summary
Oversee all phases of the medical equipment planning process from programming through activation, defining scope, schedules, and budgets while managing multiple projects simultaneously. Develop detailed equipment lists, inventories, and databases; coordinate requirements with architectural, engineering, and vendor teams to resolve conflicts and ensure integration. Serve as the primary client contact, facilitating stakeholder meetings and representing the firm in presentations. Maintain working knowledge of healthcare codes and standards, conducting quality control reviews and supporting procurement, installation, and testing. Requires approximately 10-20% travel for site visits and client meetings.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture, Interior Design, Healthcare Administration, Nursing, Biomedical Engineering, or a related field
- Experience in medical equipment planning, healthcare project management, or a related healthcare, architectural, or construction environment
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while balancing competing priorities and deadlines
- Knowledge of medical equipment, clinical workflows, and healthcare facility design and operations
- Strong knowledge of healthcare design codes and regulations (e.g., FGI Guidelines, ADA, IBC)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong leadership, team-building, and problem-solving abilities
- Approximately 10-20% travel for project-related needs, including site visits, client meetings, and occasional industry events
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with medical equipment planning software (e.g., Attainia)
- Familiarity with Revit and AutoCAD
