Job Summary
Medical Equipment Planner with 5+ years DoD experience and 7+ years in MEQ planning to lead planning, BIM, construction coordination, validation, procurement, logistics and activation of medical equipment. Proficient in Attainia software; responsible for equipment scheduling, MEQ budgeting, drafting equipment specifications and drawings for construction documents, and coordinating with end-users, design-build teams, vendors, and internal stakeholders to meet project goals. Focus areas include risk management, quality control of MEQ documentation, and mentoring project staff. Remote work with travel and reporting to the Manager of Medical Equipment.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Biomedical Engineering, Architecture or equivalent
- 7+ years’ experience as a medical equipment planner for healthcare
- 5+ years’ experience working with DoD
- Prior experience working with Attainia software
- Experience executing large, multi-phased complex healthcare projects preferred
- Knowledge and/or familiarity with Revit preferred
- Knowledge or familiarity with SEPS
- Experience in Lab Planning
- Ability to manage numerous projects demands at the same time, prioritize work and delegate tasks to team
