Job Summary
Locate equipment requiring preventative maintenance and inspection via computer-generated work orders. Test a wide variety of patient care devices, correct discovered electromechanical problems, and perform preventative maintenance. Maintain equipment records, document failures and repairs, and update the inventory list. Report complex issues to clinical staff for service scheduling and funnel unresolved questions to Clinical Engineering. Adhere to safety rules and report hazards to the supervisor. Occasional alternative shifts required.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma
- One year electrical and mechanical experience
