Job Summary
Deliver, install, and troubleshoot Durable Medical Equipment while safely operating a 16' Box Truck. Instruct patients and caregivers on equipment functions and complete all orders accurately on a proprietary web-based inventory system. Perform minor repairs in the field and maintain a clean driving record with a valid DOT Medical Examiner's Card. Candidates must be available for rotating on-call shifts including weekends and evenings, with overtime hours as needed. This role supports AdvaCare Systems' hospice and healthcare delivery network across the Chicago area.
Required Qualifications
- High School Degree or G.E.D.
- Candidates must at least 21 years of age
- have possessed a Driver's License for a minimum of 5 years
- Ability to lift an average of 50 pounds and perform strenuous work
- Basic phone/computer skills
- Ability to receive and maintain a DOT Medical Examiner's Card
