Medical Equipment Delivery Technician

Job Summary

Conduct safe transportation, delivery, installation, and setup of medical equipment, including mobile imaging systems and Rb‐82 Infusion Systems, at healthcare facilities. Operate company vehicles in compliance with traffic laws, performing pre- and post-trip inspections and loading equipment using proper safety procedures. Install and configure computer workstations, conduct site-readiness checks, and maintain accurate delivery documentation while adhering to DOT, NRC, OSHA, and HAZMAT regulations. Perform routine vehicle maintenance, ensure facility cleanliness, and report equipment or facility issues immediately. Travel 1-4 nights per week for regional or interstate routes, working flexible schedules including overnight hours. Maintain a clean driving record and provide courteous, empathetic customer service to support patient care.

Required Qualifications

  • Valid driver's license with a safe driving record (no serious incidents within the past two years)
  • Ability to work independently and manage changing schedules
  • Willingness to drive long distances, work overnight hours, and travel 1–4 nights per week
  • Strong communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to lift up to 75 lbs. and perform moderate physical labor
  • Basic computer setup and troubleshooting skills
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to regulatory compliance

Desired Qualifications

  • Microsoft Office
  • Microsoft Teams experience preferred
  • 3+ years of Class II driving experience
  • HAZMAT training related to radioactive materials
  • Experience with medical equipment transport, loading, or maintenance
