Job Summary
Lead and coordinate the site's Emergency Response Team, ensuring high-level emergency preparedness across the operation. Maintain emergency response equipment, vehicles, and rescue systems while developing and delivering training, drills, and exercises. Provide emergency medical assessment and treatment, manage the onsite Medical Centre and pharmaceutical supplies, and coordinate medical evacuations. Support workforce health through surveillance and fitness-for-work programs, and assist with return-to-work planning following workplace injuries. Drive continuous improvement through performance reviews and incident investigations. Operate on an 8/6 roster in a FIFO ex Perth arrangement at Weld Range.
Required Qualifications
- Current unrestricted WA Manual C Class Driver's Licence
- National Police Clearance
- Certificate III in Mine Emergency Response & Rescue (or equivalent)
- Certificate IV in Healthcare, Paramedicine, Pre-Hospital Care or equivalent clinical qualification
- Certificate IV Training & Assessment
- Current Working at Heights and Confined Space competencies
- Drug and Alcohol Testing qualification
- Proven experience leading mine emergency response teams
- Ability to successfully complete site medical and emergency response fitness requirements
