Job Summary
Medical Driver responsible for safely transporting lab specimens, medical records, pharmaceuticals, and hospital supplies in a MedSpeed vehicle. Responsibilities include operating a hand-held scanning device, performing pre/post-trip vehicle inspections, loading/unloading items, maintaining professional client-facing conduct, and supporting across routes as assigned. Route duties vary by client and business needs, with teamwork and adaptable collaboration to deliver care-focused logistics.
Required Qualifications
- Must be 19 years of age with an active driver’s license for 3 years
- Demonstrated dependability and reliability
- Familiarity working with and adapting to technology
- Demonstrated ability to follow procedures closely
- Ability to determine efficient routing between multiple points
- Ability to pass initial and random drug & alcohol screen
- Operate company vehicles equipped with dashcam recording systems
- Must have an excellent driving history
- Proof of COVID-19 Vaccination depending on location and local mandates
- Must be able to regularly lift and carry items weighing up to 50 pounds
- Must be able to lift items off storage racks
- Must be comfortable walking long distances and standing for long periods of time
- As a condition of employment, all candidates receiving an offer must complete a criminal background check, drug screen, and motor vehicle record (MVR) review
