Job Summary
Administers ionizing irradiation to patients in accordance with prescriptions and instructions from department physicians. Prepares room and equipment for treatment per prescription or simulation, transfers patient to treatment couch, and attends to immobilization devices. Observes patients for unusual reactions and signs of complications during treatment and reports them to the supervisor/physician. Provides clinical supervision and evaluates students' practical ability to perform procedures. Centered in Marysville region with Adventist Health network; requires compliance with vaccination policy.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in radiological technology or equivalent
- Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists in Radiation Therapy (AART-T)
- Certification of Therapeutic Radiology Technology (RTT)
- Fluoroscopy Permit from the state of practice, Department of Health Services: ARRT-Radiation Therapy (ARRT-T)
