Job Summary
Medical Dosimetrist on Intermountain Health's Radiation Oncology team. Designs treatment plans and field placements to deliver prescribed radiation dose, supports simulations and tumor localization with CT/MRI/PET, assists in fabricating immobilization devices and beam-modifying devices, and documents calculations in patient records. Collaborates with Radiation Oncologist and Medical Physicist; teaches dosimetry concepts to students/residents and participates in clinical research. Requires MDCB certification and at least one year of treatment planning experience; preferred Bachelor’s degree in physical or biological sciences and ARRT certification. 36-hour weekly schedule at St. Mary’s Regional Hospital in Grand Junction, CO. Required Qualifications
- Certification in Medical Dosimetry by the Medical Dosimetrist Certification Board (MDCB)
- One year of treatment planning experience
