Job Summary
Conduct patient care as team leader, obtaining histories, performing examinations, diagnosing, and ordering laboratory and diagnostic procedures. Provide preventative and acute care while developing individualized treatment plans and educating patients on self-management and therapeutic regimens. Prescribe medications, document progress in the Electronic Medical Record, and monitor patient outcomes. Manage clinical office staff, supervise shadowing students and interns, and share night and weekend call coverage. Ensure HIPAA compliance and meet quality benchmarks established by Population Health, payors, and NYS DOH. Build a patient population base to generate revenue covering salary and expenses.
Required Qualifications
- MD or DO Graduate
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Obstetrics and Gynecology Medicine
- NYS Licensure
Desired Qualifications
- Post graduate experience in a group practice or group setting
- Experience in OB/GYN
- Experience in GYN advanced laparoscopic surgery
