Job Summary
Conduct Acute Care and Trauma surgery calls, provide surgical trauma ICU coverage, and deliver backup call coverage as needed. Work effectively with diverse students, trainees, and colleagues while developing a full-time clinical practice. Educate residents and medical students, and participate in clinical research. Requires Board Certification/Eligibility in General Surgery and Surgical Critical Care, plus fellowship training in Surgical Critical Care, Acute Care Surgery & Trauma. ATLS Instructor qualifications and teaching background are essential. Join our Level I Adult Trauma Center serving the Northwest Valley, featuring 600 beds and 19 surgical suites.
Required Qualifications
- Board Certification/Eligibility in General Surgery and Surgical Critical Care
- Fellowship training in Surgical Critical Care, Acute Care Surgery & Trauma
- Demonstrated clinical and didactic teaching ability
- Experience working with diverse patient populations
- ATLS Instructor qualifications and teaching background
