Job Summary
Conduct Acute Care and Trauma surgery call, provide surgical trauma ICU coverage, and deliver backup call coverage as needed. Work effectively with diverse students, trainees, and colleagues while developing a full-time clinical practice. Educate residents and medical students, participate in clinical research, and maintain ATLS Instructor qualifications. Board Certification/Eligibility in General Surgery and Surgical Critical Care is required, along with Fellowship training in Surgical Critical Care, Acute Care Surgery & Trauma. Join the Division of Trauma and Acute Care Surgery at Banner Thunderbird Medical Center, a Level I Adult Trauma Center serving the Northwest Valley.
Required Qualifications
- Board Certification/Eligibility in General Surgery and Surgical Critical Care
- Fellowship training in Surgical Critical Care, Acute Care Surgery & Trauma
- Demonstrated clinical and didactic teaching ability
- Experience working with diverse patient populations
- ATLS Instructor qualifications and teaching background
