Job Summary
Director of the liver transplant anesthesia program in a rapidly expanding transplant institute. Lead a multidisciplinary liver transplant team, shape clinical initiatives for enhanced recovery and perioperative safety, mentor and educate within the College of Medicine, and pursue academic contributions in collaboration with the BIO5 Institute and Boyer Liver Institute. Ideal candidates will have board-certified anesthesiology training with liver transplant experience, fellowship in transplant/critical care/cardiothoracic anesthesia, and demonstrated leadership in a complex surgical environment. This role offers faculty appointment at the University of Arizona and a comprehensive benefits package, including relocation support.
Required Qualifications
- Board certification in Anesthesiology
- Fellowship training in transplant, critical care, or cardiothoracic anesthesia (preferred)
- Leadership experience in a complex surgical environment
