Job Summary
Provide direct medical care to patients in accordance with Medical Standards and Guidelines, including miscarriage management, abortion services, and advanced gynecological procedures like colposcopy and IUC removal. Participate in physician consultation call rotations and collaborate with the Medical Director and Compliance team to implement clinical policies and quality management programs. Maintain accurate documentation in the Electronic Health Record system, meet coding requirements, and serve as a clinical resource for staff while ensuring patient confidentiality. Work flexible hours including weekends and evenings, travel up to 75% to other PPSE locations, and maintain a valid Georgia MD license and DEA registration.
Required Qualifications
- Excellent communication (verbal and written) and interpersonal skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining professionalism and attention to detail
- Demonstrated ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced clinical environment
- Strong computer literacy, including EHR systems, Microsoft Office, and basic data entry
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and demonstrate empathy with patients of diverse backgrounds
- Consistent follow-through and attention to accuracy in documentation and task completion
- Professional demeanor and appearance
- Demonstrates empathy, compassion, and cultural sensitivity. Ability to relate to diverse communities
- Ability to read and implement written instructions
- Ability to physically assist a patient in distress
- Ability and willingness to travel up to 75% to other PPSE locations within Georgia
- Reliable means of transportation for on-site and off-site work
- If using a personal vehicle to drive for work purposes, a valid GA driver's license and current auto insurance in compliance with the minimum requirements of the GA vehicle code
- Graduate Degree from an accredited OB/GYN or Family Medicine program
- A valid and current Georgia MD license
- Must comply with licensure requirements for practice capacity and have or obtain a current license in all practicing states
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS)
- Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends and evenings, as required
Desired Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years' experience providing Family Planning and Abortion services preferred
- Experience with digital healthcare delivery and management platforms
- Bilingual (Spanish/English) preferred
