Medical Director

Medical Director functions as part of the Executive Leadership Team and provides clinical leadership and oversight for all mental health and substance use services within the Wyandot Behavioral Health Network. This role ensures high-quality, evidence-based care for individuals with mental illness and substance use disorders, while maintaining compliance with regulatory standards and supporting interdisciplinary teams. Key responsibilities include psychiatric evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment with an active caseload, medication assisted treatment for opioid addiction, supervision of psychiatrists, nurse practitioners, and other prescribing providers, establishing clinical protocols, promoting evidence-based practices, and overseeing medical services and quality improvement. Administrative duties involve executive meetings, strategic planning, and monitoring productivity and outcomes, with compliance and staff development, community engagement, and integration with primary care and social services. The position is based at the 47th Street location with light travel to other locations."
