Job Summary
Provide comprehensive medical and surgical care to small animal patients while overseeing clinical standards to ensure quality outcomes. Mentor associate veterinarians and develop medical protocols and standard operating procedures. Partner with hospital leadership to align medical and operational goals and foster a positive, team-oriented culture. Maintain accurate medical records and ensure regulatory compliance. This role combines hands-on patient care with medical leadership responsibilities at an established small animal practice in Alamogordo, NM.
Required Qualifications
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM/VMD) or equivalent degree
- Active veterinary license (or ability to obtain licensure)
- Strong clinical and surgical proficiency
